Separate Southwest Ontario into a separate Canadian province

The inept and Toronto-centric leadership of Ontario has neglected the Southwest for years, ignoring local concerns regarding wind farms and conservative values. Things are unlikely to change unless the various counties of Southwest Ontario form a proud, separate province within Confederation, unaffected by the corruption and arrogance at Queen's Park.

GET RID OF THE TORONTO MOUNTED POLICE UNIT.

This is a attempt to make Toronto a better place and save the tax payers money too. I have seen many services be cut at city hall in 33 years, services that people needed. However nobody needs the Toronto mounted police unit.

First; The cost in 2012 was $4.9 million

a) veterinary bills

b) food

c) training (officers and horses)

d) large vehicles and trailers

e) funerals for horses (remember ?),

f) housing in a historic CNE building that we could rent, sell, use?)

What are we paying for ? Their not cracking homicides.
Put a crossing guard at Cliffside Public School

Beautiful Kayleigh Callaghan-Bellanger was just 5 years old when she was struck and killed by a City of Toronto garbage truck on a sunny clear day on her way home from school at approximately 3:45 with several other children on March 7, 2013. There are NO CROSSING GUARDS for this school. Lets make this a safer school by signing this petition!

Ninety-nine per cent of children in the Greater Toronto Area are not getting enough exercise, according to new research .

Researchers monitored the physical activity of 856 children in Grades 5 and 6 from 16 participating schools in the GTA for the study, published this month in the journal Chronic Diseases and Injuries in Canada . The youngsters wore accelerometers for a week in 2010 or 2011.

The tiny devices are like pedometers that can hook onto a belt, but are more sensitive in that they can measure all types of motion, not just steps taken. They even measure when children are being sedentary or sleeping.
