The National Audubon Society suspended freelance writer Ted Williams for publishing an article in the Orlando Sentinel- to advocate that citizens get rid of cats by poisoning them with a common over-the-counter medication.

Ted Williams is a conservationist who has written for Audubon for 33 years. Audubon magazine has suspended his work and will remove him as "Editor at Large". The Orlando Sentinel newspaper has edited the artilcle because of Mr. Williams' stated affiliation with Audubon.

The National Audubon Society states backyard poisoning isn't the answer and we want  to make it absolutely clear they don't support that idea.

Thank the The National Audubon Society for suspending this writer and for rejecting the idea of people taking matters into their own hands in ways that can harm neighbors’ pets – or any cats.

Animal abuse and cruelty are growing and the suffering and abused animals fill shelters and roam the streets of many a city. 

We need to give our voice to those who have none, who suffer in silence, who are starving to death and are being abused, tortured and even raped to death. All those poor souls need our voices, they need our help. 

By signing this petition you can make a difference, as humans we need to take a stand to prevent more abuse and violence to animas.

We cannot be silent, when those that are our pets are suffering elsewhere. And not just pets, all animals, like circus animals, those in fur farms and other farming facilities, laboratories, bred for slaugther in a cruel way... The list is a mile long.

We need to make animal wlefare our business, governments are money-driven just as many other organizations. Even if we can save animals just in one country fron cruelty and abuse, would be a huge victory. Join in, and lets make a difference.

United as one (Parents) we will take a stand and support each other in the well being and the safety of our children at school.  I personally am sick and tired of going before the principal with issues at school and NOTHING gets done about it.  Sure, you say they do, but changes are NEVER made.  It has gotten so bad that some of the teachers are bullying the students at school.  That is uncalled for.  It has to STOP!!!!!

A recent investigation by "Marketplace" ( Canadian investigative journalism ) found that Canada has the highest rate of hospital-acquired infections in the developed world. A recent study in the Canadian Medical Association Journal found that there are 185,000 yearly hospital admissions, in Canada, that result in an "unintended patient injury, death or disability due to health-care management mistakes. The purpose of this legislation would be to make it easier to get compensation/justice for victims of any wrongdoing by any hospital or medical institution which leads to illness, injury or death of the patient. This PATIENTS BILL OF RIGHTS would simplify/streamline the process of compensating patient/victims without having to resort to, costly to all, medical malpractice litigation.
